The most efficient way we can validate stories are being submitted genuinely is to request a mobile number we can send a PIN to.

After you submit your mobile number, you'll see a form to submit the PIN we sent to you.

Submit the PIN for validation and the editor will display to allow you to edit an existing story you submitted or enter a new story.

Note: We do not store your mobile, it is immediately encrypted and tagged to the story you submit for future validation. We will never provide your mobile number to third parties. It will only ever be used for story validation.

You must type in your story, you cannot copy and paste from another document this prevents invalid characters and tags from corrupting the format.

Try to keep the story short but tell the readers about the veterans life.

How old was the veteran when entering the forces, where served married, children, occupation. Did the veteran survive, suffer injuries etc.
